Welcome Celebration at Armature Works

Join USGIF and 3,500 other attendees for the GEOINT 2018 Welcome Celebration on Sunday, April 22 from 7PM-10PM! Come network with colleagues and enjoy outdoor games like cornhole and giant Jenga on the outside lawn. Inside, hear great music and see artists at work. Women In Defense Presents Lunch with The Honorable Susan M. Gordon

Women In Defense Greater Tampa Bay Chapter is hosting a lunch with Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence The Honorable Susan “Sue” Gordon, Tuesday, April 24, 12:30-2:00 p.m. at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Grand Ballroom.

Gordon was sworn in as the fifth Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence (PDDNI) on August 7, 2017. With the DNI, she leads the Intelligence Community (IC) and manages the ODNI. In particular, she focuses on advancing intelligence integration across IC agencies, expanding outreach and partnerships, and driving innovation across the Community.

This is a Women in Defense Greater Tampa Bay Chapter event that will coincide with the GEOINT 2018 Symposium, and requires separate registration.

USGIF selected 25 up-and-coming GEOINTers for its Young Professionals Golden Ticket Program. This program is an exclusive opportunity for young professionals—35-years-old and under or with five or less years of experience in the GEOINT Community—to receive complimentary GEOINT Foreword and GEOINT 2018 Symposium registration. Participants will benefit from activities such as networking receptions, a mentoring luncheon, special exhibit hall briefings, and an invitation to the USGIF Chairman’s Reception.

Held this year on Sunday, April 22, GEOINT Foreword is the pre-symposium science and technology-focused day that brings together government, academia, and industry to discuss advances in the tradecraft and innovation. The program delivers keynote speakers, panel discussions, learning tracks, lightning talks, and networking opportunities. GEOINT Foreword is also a day for students to build professional relationships and confidence.

Please note: GEOINT Foreword requires separate registration in addition to your general session or exhibit only conference pass. Be sure to add GEOINT Foreword to your attendee package during the online registration process.

LAST CALL: Golden Ticket Program

Today is the final day to submit applications for USGIF’s GEOINT 2018 Symposium Golden Ticket Program. Each year, USGIF offers the Golden Ticket program as an opportunity for young professionals to win free registration to the GEOINT Symposium and an exclusive opportunity to meet and hear from seniors and innovators in the GEOINT world in a personal setting.

Only a handful of candidates who apply are selected, but the program includes private networking events, luncheons with government seniors, and admission to the chairman’s reception, among other opportunities.

Today, Monday, Feb. 26, at 5 p.m. EST is the deadline for all proposals to be submitted for consideration as lightning talks during the GEOINT Symposium.

USGIF is offering 56 hours of training and professional development opportunities during GEOINT 2018. Training will be offered Monday, April 23 through Wednesday, April 25 at 7-9 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. Topics include LiDAR, machine learning, Big Data, ABI, crowdsourcing, geospatial data, and more.
